Job Description: This Solution Architecture sits in the Insurance Lab of the Finance Value Stream, reporting to the Lead Solution Architect for this area. We're responsible for maintaining and developing all aspects of the IT Solution Architecture for this workstream. Your day to day role would involve delivering end to end engineering designs as part of the Insurance Lab, you'll be responsible for delivering end-to-end engineering designs for initiatives impacting LBG's Insurance Finance applications and associated data integration, control and reporting systems within the Finance Value Stream. Heavy focus on the architecture elements required to ensure our platforms and software are designed and built consistently with relevant patterns, practices and align to the target architecture. Job Responsibilities: You'll be responsible for delivering end-to-end engineering designs for initiatives impacting LBG's Insurance Finance applications and associated data integration, control and reporting systems within the Finance Value Stream. Your contribution will be instrumental to our strategy of simplifying, modernising, and de-risking the Finance technology landscape, enabling the Bank of the Future and ultimately driving value for customers and shareholders. This is a key role at the financial heart of LBG, underpinning the long-term sustainability and integrity of the organisation. Job Requirements: Good knowledge & experience of data heavy systems, i.e. data warehouse, cloud or big data systems. TOGAF or equivalent qualifications. Act as a key point of contact for architecture related queries from customers, software engineers and security teams. Be responsible for delivery of engineering design deliverables - ASA, EMCRA, Project Overview, ITSD, Minimum Viable Design, Application Roadmaps - and managing architecture decisions through formal governance processes. Good knowledge & experience of Finance systems, however we cover a breadth of finance systems including Accountancy/Finance, Actuarial, Pensions and Insurance, so exposure to any of these would be highly desirable. Manage the IT Roadmap, driving best practice initiatives. Take responsibility for the Application Architecture required by the Insurance Lab and associated design activity.
