Job Description: As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of B2B Sales Representatives in a defined territory. You will implement the appropriate sales strategy to ensure the company meets new business and revenue goals. You will distribute performance objectives and provide the coaching, mentoring, and counseling that is necessary to ensure individual and team goals are met. You will lead by example, assisting sales personnel on calls to new accounts, which will include aiding in the preparation of customer proposals, presentations, and pricing. Job Requirements: Industry knowledge. Five years of successful B2B sales or B2B sales management experience. Excellent computer skills and technology competence. Bachelor’s degree. An entrepreneurial spirit and a drive to lead others in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment. An advanced sales skillset, and a high level of business acumen. A passion for recruiting, retaining, and developing talented sales professionals. A collaborative mindset that brings ideas and solutions together to ensure success team and customer outcomes. You set and reach goals for yourself and others, raising the bar each time. High school diploma or GED. Three years of successful sales or sales management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of all core skills and knowledge of B2B Sales Consultant and Area Sales Manager roles.
