Job Description: We are currently recruiting for an Indentured/skilled level 2 NDT operator to work on site at our offices in Yeovil. The role will involve Fluorescent Penetrant inspection and Magnetic Particle inspection of Aerospace Equipment, in accordance with manufacturing instructions, Specifications and Customer/Regulator Requirements, working within an empowered team environment to meet delivery requirements and reporting directly to the Team Lead.. Job Responsibilities: Producing product to engineering drawings and instructions Interpreting engineering drawings, following the process layout and documentation procedures Have the skills and knowledge to set up and standardize equipment, process parts, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection, and document results Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the technique/method Have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard Be capable of providing the necessary guidance and/or supervision to trainees Be familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the method as used by the employer When specified in the written practice, be capable of developing work instructions from approved general procedures Have a basic knowledge of relevant product manufacturing and inspection technology; Embrace 5S and continuous improvement culture.
