Job Description: As an Advanced Application Engineer (APC) based in Perth, you will take a lead role in the successful delivery of Honeywell Connected Industrial services to our clients in the Pacific region. You will be responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of application services within each defined client, reporting to Engineering Team Leader. This role will have a high degree of autonomy working directly with customer including being embedded in customer led teams. Job Responsibilities: Works in close collaboration with Project Managers to achieve project delivery success SME to support Sales and Consulting for business development activities and sales support Understand complex chemical processes and interactions, and the use of advanced control techniques to improve production reliability and efficiency Perform step testing, model identification, inferential models developing, on-line commissioning and tuning of control applications under supervision Lead projects, including taking responsibility for technical deliverables and site implementation Be a team player and able to work in integrated engineering team embedded with a client Able to determine and communicate the value proposition, undertake feasibility studies and support business case development Participate in analyzing client requirements, specifying, designing, developing, testing, documenting, installing, and commissioning advanced control applications using Profit Controller/Optimizer, UniSim, DCS algorithms, and custom programs Provide guidance and training for junior APC Engineers Collaboration with Operations Leader for the successful delivery of Projects within the portfolio group Collaboration with After Market Services Leader for the successful delivery of Service Projects and AMS activities within the portfolio group Job Requirements: 8+ years experience in a similar role Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering/ Technology discipline Experience in interfacing and working with different DCS systems Industry experience in Minerals/ Petrochemical/ Gas Processing refinery - mandatory A very high-level technical knowledge Multivariable model predictive control technology and online optimization such as Profit Controller/Optimizer, DMCPlus and EXASMOC (either one of these) Specific experience in Honeywell’s Forge Advanced Process Control, CPM and Simulation packages is highly desirable Must have good communications skills Job Details: Company: Honeywell Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Perth, Western Australia, AU Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacancyoptions.com
