Job Description: Under general supervision the Sr Associate Plant Scheduler ensures that the plant schedule accurately reflects production activities in the facility, ensures that raw materials are available for processing, and coordinates lot disposition activities. Job Responsibilities: Serve as primary interface between Area Manufacturing & PPIC for raw materials. Maintain excellent communication with production and support staff. Use credibility and process. knowledge to influence solutions to scheduling constraints. Coordinate lot disposition activities between Mfg, PPIC, and QA. Lead SAP Routings and Manufacturing Bills of Materials. Solicit feedback from clients and team members to constantly improve plant scheduling activities. Facilitate NPI raw material sub-team meetings for the creation of new BOMs for production. Coordinate product delivery/pick up. Maintain late/emergency work order database; show reduction in emergency raw material requests. Attends or leads meetings and support extended hours and/or n Provide emergency scheduling solutions due to production related issues. Serve as the implementation lead for plant scheduling activities of new products. Proactively communicate scheduling errors and issues – provide implement able solutions. Coordinate raw material returns/scraps and perform related SAP transactions. Lead plant inventory including multi-lot items. Supervise, analyze and report monthly plant scheduling metrics on schedule adherence, raw material emergencies, and root cause analysis. Facilitate weekly operations meeting with manufacturing management and cross-functional management representatives. Ops meeting to serve as the primary forum to communicate upcoming production activities, reviewing action items, elevate production scheduling issues, and coordinate lot disposition activities. Build process orders in SAP and verified raw material expiration date. Communicate frozen window changes and track changes within database. Coordinate windows for work orders execution ensuring PMs are executed within designated timelines to avoid impact to production. Qualification & Experience: Master’s degree Bachelor’s degree & 2 years of scheduling and/or planning experience in GMP regulated industry Educational background/discipline in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or Science Field Scheduling and/or planning experience Flexibility to support different work schedules (Non Standard Shift) Knowledge of SAP system Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish Strong presentation and organizational skills Conflict management and negotiation skills Experience working with Project and Virtec (Symphony) Job Details: Company: Amgen Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Sarasota, FL, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacancyoptions.com
