Job Description: Manage theatrical productions and operations for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings¿ brands including Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises with responsibility for the operational management of "Creative Studios by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings", a state-of-the-art entertainment rehearsal and costuming facility. Overall management of theatrical production¿s technical entertainment including design, maintenance and repair as well as application regarding all new-build projects. Manage, develop, and oversee all Technical Production and Operational Managers as well as their respective teams. Job Responsibilities: Prepare financial analysis on new productions to determine feasibility and ROI. Make recommendations on entertainment operations and implement them accordingly. Direct and manage all scheduling at Creative Studios for all rehearsals and installations for all three brands. Negotiate, draft, execute and manage production, technical and design contracts for new and existing theatrical entertainment contractors and vendors for NCLH Theatrical Operations. Plan and execute annual budget for theatrical operations. Seek cost savings, efficiencies of economy and opportunities to reduce unproductive activities. Manage the theatrical production technical operations including maintenance and repair of all scenic, props and technical equipment within the Brands entertainment venues. Prepare and manage annual capital budget(s) for new entertainment productions. Prepare operating budget for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings¿ entertainment rehearsal and costuming facility in Tampa, Florida. Work with NCLH Fleet Human Resources in recruiting, interviewing and scheduling all shipboard entertainment technicians. Work directly with the brands' Artistic Directors on all theatrical projects and initiatives both technical and operational. Collaborate with creatives, both in-house and outside of the company, to implement the creative vision and execute the NCLH brand standard of first-class quality production values. Ensure optimal operation of the Entertainment department and its staff. Have strong working knowledge of entertainment technical production, keeping up to date on latest technology and personnel in the industry. Be able to recruit, hire and manage highly qualified technical production personnel including designer (audio, lighting, video and SFX) for new productions and existing show operations. Maintain and continue to grow relationships with NCLH's Entertainment Technical department to further enhance entertainments needs for operational, repair and maintenance, replacement and refurbishment of all entertainment's technical needs. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Arts, Administration or any equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience. Minimum 10 years' experience in the Entertainment industry including at least 3 years in theatrical production and at least 5-6 years in a supervisory/management capacity. Cruise industry theatrical entertainment experience preferred. Must be innovative, creative and have extensive knowledge related to, theatrical production cycle, cruise programs, music, contracts, negotiation, scheduling, personnel management and marketing. Must have knowledge of FileMaker Pro database software. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams. Must be proficient or the ability to learn Monday.com. Thorough knowledge of and ability to effectively manage entertainment production.
