For more information, please visit www.dunkinbrands.com Job Responsibilities: Lead and report accurate new store development and existing store remodel timelines Expedite development timelines by interacting with internal partners such as Store Planning and Equipment Services, and providing guidance to outside architects, engineers, general contractors and governmental agencies Closely monitor construction progress and quality with onsite visits to construction projects where you will provide functional expertise and counsel to general contractors and franchisees Lead cross-functional site-specific Responsibility Meetings and bi-weekly deal review calls for all new store development and remodel projects in the Construction Manager’s market area to enable preparation, alignment, and accuracy of projected store opening dates. This position has 4 critical deliverables from a performance management perspective: New Store Openings, New First Year Sales, Signings and Remodels. Remodels are vital to the transformation and evolution of the Dunkin’ Brands standards Enable the construction of profitable stores by partnering with Development counterparts and carefully assessing the feasibility of a location Ensure design, layout, equipment, millwork, signage, and related components are aligned with prototype design specifications / brand standards, and executed on time/on budget Ensure timely store development by managing corporate development or coaching and counseling franchisees on the management of activities relating to the design, permitting, and construction of new and remodeled stores Successfully coach franchisees in the store development process Job Requirements: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project and web-based applications Ability to effectively create and foster cross-functional working relationships with influential clients, both internal and external 4 year degree in architecture, engineering, project management or related discipline Experience in cost estimating and negotiating 5+ years of experience in construction management in a multi-unit restaurant or retail environment A strong foundation of business & financial acumen to support franchisee profitability and organizational business and financial metrics.
