Job Description: You will carry out the servicing and repair of complex fire alarm equipment and associated fire life safety systems. You will oversee the work carried out by key sub-contractors who may be carrying out work on the companies’ behalf. You will interact with high profile customers, colleagues within the business and other industry peers. You will advise customers on ways to reduce faults by identifying obsolete or end of life cycle equipment. You will keep customers updated with the latest product developments that may lead to upgrade opportunities. You will provide small works quotes to customers that may need works carrying out to the various systems on site. You will support the business to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to the service and installation of fire safety equipment. You will support your line manager when required if assistance is required on other sites within the region. You will act a key point of contact for the customer to ensure a strong relationship with the customer is maintained always. Job Responsibilities: Present RAMS to support the works we are carrying out Ensure right and fast delivery Complete documentation to evidence fire alarm maintenance has being carried out Attend monthly meeting with client to discuss our performance on site Carry out routine maintenance of large complex fire alarm systems Attend to fault calls ensuring the system is kept in full working order Recommend upgrade opportunities relating to obsolete or end of life equipment Respond to customer requests to quote for small works associated with works required on site Liaise with engineering colleagues who may be required to work alongside you Co-ordinate the works required by sub-contractors to complete specialist works Job Requirements: Good understanding of EH & S requirements Strong written and oral communication Working knowledge of BS5389 requirements Experience of ‘Gent’ fire alarm panels Knowledge of Vesda aspirating systems Understanding of PAVA systems Extensive fire alarm maintenance experience in the field Experience working on complex Fire alarm panels Previous industry experience Job Details: Company: Honeywell Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Bracknell, England, UK Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacancyoptions.com
