Job Description: Use your knowledge of manufacturing engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under general supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of products supporting new products from concept development through the start of production for manufacturing cost, yield, and schedule execution. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who support current product value engineering and the optimization of the manufacturing process. Design, development and verification of manufacturing equipment and processes for optical gas detection products; including Automated Optical Alignment & Optical Product Test Systems, Optical Assembly, Process data acquisition & capability analysis, and yield improvements. Projects to include introduction of new processes / systems into production, and enhancement / development of existing systems. Job Responsibilities: Creation and maintenance of PFMEA Supplier management System specification and requirement capture Design/ Redesign/ replacement of jigs, fixture & test equipment System and process documentation Support to resolve production issues Yield analysis and corrective action identification and execution Project Management Process design and optimization System testing, refinement and verification Job Requirements: Computer literacy Ability to focus on important information and identify key details Capability of following guidelines and ensuring efficiency on tasks Application of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes Delivery of high quality production processes that meet application requirements, and is well structured and documented to allow future development and debug.
