Job Description:
- The Marketing Senior Manager will lead the execution of Otezla brand strategy, including creative development of marketing materials to support the Otezla sales force as well as non-personal tactical execution. In addition, this individual will deliver planning and execution of sales force meetings, collaborate in development of brand-building marketing plans and support tactics to accelerate Otezla growth. The person in this role will partner with the Inflammation Nephrology Business Unit (INBU) matrix teams and key cross-functional partners when working on key brand projects. This position will consist of agency and vendor management, as well as matrix management across Amgen’s commercial, medical, legal, and regulatory enterprises.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leads US promotional campaign strategy and message development
- Handles budget and closely monitors performance to ensure cost effective delivery of all activities
- Works closely with Competitive Intelligence to develop competitive planning and strategic efforts
- Develops strong relationships with key opinion leaders and physicians
- Contributes to the development and implementation of annual brand plan
- Works with medical, legal and regulatory to translate clinical data into compelling promotional messaging
- Partners with matrix team to develop strategically aligned HCP tactics for personal and non-personal promotion
- Works with multi-channel marketing strategy brand lead to optimize placement of personal promotion content (print and digital)
- Participates in relevant scientific congresses and conferences to stay up to date with relevant literature
- Leads execution of all HCP personal promotional materials to align with campaign strategy
- Leads internal review / approval process for promotional materials
- Coordinates the work of agency of record, multiple external vendors, and internal departments including marketing, market research, legal, regulatory, and medical affairs for tactics under their responsibility
Qualification & Experience:
- Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
- Master’s degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
- Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
- Associate’s Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
- High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
