Apple Careers – Full Stack Engineer

Job Description:

Apple’s MSI is seeking a Full-stack (Services focused) developer who is passionate about building APIs and well versed in one or more frontend languages/technologies. We are a small, close-knit team that uses a Human-Centered Design approach, combined with Agile Methodologies, to get things done quickly and effectively. You will have a deep passion for helping internal partners visualize and use large, complex data sets to drive impactful decisions across all of Apple’s product lines.

Job Requirements:

• Solid grasp of data structures and algorithms
• Experience with a different frameworks/services such as S3, Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Spark, Redis, Helm
• Demonstrable knowledge in code versioning tools and processes, testing frameworks and CICD
• You have 5+ years of application development experience
• Hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL databases & Application/Web Servers such as Jetty, Tomcat, JBoss etc
• Understanding of Networking concepts on Cloud, like VPCs, Route 53, Security Groups, NLB/ALB on AWS
• You are proficient with Java/J2EE technologies for Web Tier and Business Logic Tier (or other WebTier frameworks/Programming languages)
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience with data processing technologies like Spark etc.
• Good Understanding of Data Security on Cloud based applications
• Experience with cross-functional collaboration in all stages of a product life cycle (prototype and production)
• Experience with building Javascript webapps and good experience in React/Angular (or other JavaScript frameworks)
