Job Description:

• The Assistant E-Commerce Retail Manager’s purpose is to support in developing a team of eCommerce professionals, inspiring them towards delivering on a defined growth strategy, built with a primary focus on overall site performance.
• You will manage everything that goes into running a website and guide a team that focuses on a specific group of assigned categories. Through strategy and excellence, you will drive the development of plans that take the user beyond the online store, creating an experience across all channels that brings the digital experience to life.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as a hands-on coach, mentor, reporting-line leader, and overall mentor for other business roles in the department
• Act as a strategic partner to elevate experience optimization and category strategy
• Surface and action insights on localized eCommerce trends and opportunities in the digital space
• Lead activities around executive-level business performance reporting for their assigned categories, as well as site wide performance metrics
• Partner with Technology partners to help prioritize and ope-rationalize new technologies that impact onsite customer experience or team process
• Increase the level of e Comm representation across the organization with key product vendors, technology partners and 3rd party agencies
• Support eCommerce Director/Senior leadership with quarterly and annual planning, aligned with department and company objectives
• Use intermediate analytical acumen to be able to uncover insights beyond a static dashboard (ie. using SQL, building in Power BI, etc)

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience working with Agile teams / scrum framework
• Experience with Google or Adobe Analytics
• College or University Graduate – Business or related field
• 2+ years’ experience leading and impacting business performance and results in eCommerce, ideally for a Retail business
• Experience mentoring, leading, training or managing people in Digital or eCommerce environments
