Job Description:

The Digital Learning Trainer is responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of systems training across the business, working in collaboration with the Digital Learning Manager and appropriate business stakeholders to ensure the learning and development needs of the business are met.

The Digital Learning team has two primary responsibilities. Firstly, to design and deliver the highest quality training which will drive performance across Bright Horizons. The training will align with the business priorities and contribute to systems capability across nursery settings and all support functions. Secondly, to lead, support and enhance the Learning Management System.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for virtual classrooms;
  • Embed culture, values, behaviours and the Bright Horizons’ HEART principles in all areas of work
  • Maintain sector currency and contribute to innovative methods of design and delivery of training to maintain and enhance Bright Horizon’s competitive positioning in the market;
  • Provide Tier 1 and 2 support on Learning Zone queries using ONEsupport (Cherwell)
  • Working with the Digital Learning Team to create systems training
  • Support with administrative duties on our LMS, Learning Zone (Cornerstone on Demand)
  • Personal commitment to deliver the highest levels of professionalism
  • Support on systems training for new projects and acquisitions;
  • Contribute and maintain accurate training data where appropriate;
  • Contribute to the design, delivery and implementation of induction programmes;
  • Contribute to the development of digital training resources/programmes that will support a pipeline of talented and qualified nursery professionals to deliver outstanding practice;
  • Development and delivery of systems training;
  • Timely delivery of training projects/resource;
  • Support on systems related workstreams and create high-quality training to support the implementation of new ways of working;
  • To promote a quality improvement mindset across Bright Horizons;
  • Contribute to the design of webinars and virtual learning;
  • Support our Keeping Everybody Safe priority by designing and delivering learning programmes which educate, upskill and enhance all staff

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders;
  • Experience of communicating virtually
  • Embraces new methods of working to improve learning outcomes.
  • IT Skills including proficient in the MS Office Suite
  • Experience in the design and delivery of systems training using a range of methods (desirable but training can be provided);
  • Knowledge of the Workday system (desirable)
  • Personal commitment to the continuous development of self and others;
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise own workload and accommodate change according to business need
  • Awareness of the role of data to demonstrate the impact of training and development activities;
  • Experience of providing accessible and inclusive learning;
  • Experience of working with adults in a teaching/training capacity;
  • Excellent standards of communication, written and verbal
