Job Description:

The Senior Manager, Advisor Relations is strategically responsible for building an opportunity pipeline through Advisor Relationships. “Advisors” in this context are Tier 1 and Tier 2 consulting organisations that businesses with a need to make a significant purchase in communications would use to facilitate their decision making. This role is responsible for engaging with and influencing Advisors, creating the BT story for Advisors, in order to improve BT’s positioning in a potential bid situation. Responsible for providing Enterprise with a high-quality pipeline (£0.5bn of fully qualified opportunities), with an expected win rate of 50%.

Job Responsibilities:

• Involve Advisors in events that BT is promoting at.
• Facilitate Advisor stakeholders in their engagement with BT.
• Responsible for building relationships through socialising using BT’s sports and media contracts in order to have ready influence and entry into opportunity conversations.
• Accountable for establishing a strong network with Advisors.
• Responsible for promoting the BT Enterprise story and capabilities into the Advisor community.
• Organise events for advisors where BT can showcase its capabilities.

Qualification & Experience:

• Establishing fruitful relationships with Advisors across the UK.
• External Stakeholder/Communication Skills: At all levels in Advisor organisations, covering Technology teams and Partners for industry verticals.
• Internal Stakeholder/Communication Skills: Regional Directors, Major Government Director, to promote pipeline opportunities and establish relationships.
• 10 years minimum experience working with Advisors in the systems integrator and/or Telco space.
• Experience of building a successful pipeline of business.
• Building a pipeline of business through networking and opportunity qualification
• Presenting BT’s capabilities in a compelling way, so as to keep us front of mind when opportunities arise.
