Job Description:

Chick-fil-A Fountain City is seeking an Assistant General Manager who can be a strong leader and own and oversee all evening operations. This person will be in a leadership position where they will have the opportunity to lead, grow, and serve. This individual will have their hand in multiple aspects of the restaurant from managing a department to business planning and strategizing. The ultimate goal for this person is to work alongside the Owner/Operator and other Leaders to play a key role in growing the business and holding the team accountable. This opportunity is far greater than “fast food” but is an opportunity for a key individual to impact the day to day team members and business functions of a Chick-fil-A restaurant. This leader will be intentionally developed, and long-term this individual will have the opportunity to serve as a top leader in an even larger capacity or pursue becoming an Owner/Operator within the next 3-5 years!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet regularly with Leadership Team and the Operator for training/personal development and to execute overall vision
  • Track and improve store goals with a focus on Overall Customer Satisfaction, Operational Excellence, and Sales Growth
  • Ongoing evaluation of business operations and streamlining systems/processes for efficiency
  • Mentor, coach, invest in, and build relationships with team members
  • Celebrate successes while holding team members accountable for performance results
  • Perform off-shift managerial tasks such as team development, reviewing reports and results, and training
  • Enthusiastically lead shifts and positively impact team of 25-30
  • Ensure Chick-fil-A Fountain City is performing at a high level and meeting and exceeding all Chick-fil-A standards
  • Work in the operations overseeing and supervising all evening systems and processes

  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred

  • Ability to keep composure under high pressure and make decisions quickly
  • Results and goals oriented
  • Possesses humility and integrity
  • 3+ years leadership and management experience
