Job Description:
The Restaurant Director will play a key role in the grand opening of the store and the day to day operations. This person will be in a leadership position where they will have the opportunity to lead, grow, and serve. This individual will have their hand in multiple aspects of the restaurant from managing a department to business planning and strategizing. This opportunity is far greater than “fast food” but is an opportunity for a key individual to impact the day to day team members and business functions of a Chick-fil-A restaurant. After an initial training period, this individual will begin leading teams, completing operational assessments, and taking ownership of other administrative tasks. This leader will be intentionally developed, and long-term this individual will have the opportunity to serve as a top leader in an even larger capacity or pursue becoming an Owner/Operator within the next 3-5 years!
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform off-shift managerial tasks such as scheduling, ordering, operational assessments, customer experience assessments, and HR tasks
- Ongoing evaluation of business operations and streamlining systems/processes for efficiency
- Create business goals, analyze trends and results, and project future of the business
- Ensure Chick-fil-A Helena is meeting and exceeding all Chick-fil-A standards
- Meet regularly with leadership team and the Operator for training/personal development and to execute overall vision
- Rotate though multiple aspects of the business to gain knowledge of the total operation
- Work in the operations leading teams and supervising daily systems and processes
- Mentor, coach, invest in, and build relationships with a diverse team of people
- Celebrate successes while holding team members accountable for performance results
Job Requirements:
- Ability to keep composer under high pressure and make decisions quickly
- Strong communication skills; quick thinker and decision maker
- Driven and detail oriented with strong time management skills
- Possesses a willingness and desire to learn and be coached
- Dedicated and organized self-starter and problem solver
- Passionate about understanding the business and developing team members
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Leadership and team development experience
- Optimistic and engaging; excited about the vision/future growth of the company
- Team oriented; genuine heart and care for people and good team player
- Demonstrates servant leadership mentality; willing to get your hands dirty
