Cinemark Hiring – Bartender

Job Description:

Cinemark Bartenders prepare accurate, high quality, and consistent beverages, following recipes in accordance with Cinemark standards. A good Bartender does not just take orders – he/she provides suggestions and uses selling techniques to increase the order while enhancing the Customer’s visit. This individual maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe work area in a fast-paced environment, while providing an extraordinarily memorable Guest experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Consistently uses suggestive selling techniques
• Ensures that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
• Maintains appropriate stock levels for the bar
• Consistently identifies and sanitizes Guest high-contact areas within and around the dining area restaurant, lounge, bar, auditorium, and patio areas
• Greets Guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
• Verifies identification to confirm Guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
• Possesses full knowledge of bar and menu items and makes recommendations
• Delivers food and beverage orders within established time frames
• Accurately records food and beverage orders from Guests in a timely manner
• Properly utilizes Personal Protective Equipment while completing position specific tasks
• Processes payment for completed guest orders
• Attends a mandatory Shift Huddle (team discussion) at the start of or during the shift
• Collaborates with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
• Assists the General Manager on duty with placing orders for all liquor and bar related supplies
• Consistently ensures and promotes adherence of proper social distancing guidelines

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Availability to work flexible hours which include evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Requires regular and consistent attendance
• Responds with a sense of urgency
• Provides excellent Guest service
• Interpersonal skills include the ability to communicate (verbal and written) with all ages, genders, and personalities. Must be able to effectively and regularly converse in and comprehend English
• Ability to take and follow direction
• Has an energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills
