Job Description:

• The Demand Planning Capabilities Manager is a planning expert with excellent knowledge of planning best practice. They will leverage their in-depth understanding of DP proficiencies like statistical modeling, event and promotional modeling, business driver correlation, portfolio optimization, product life cycle management (introduction, transition, cannibalization, EOL). This position will work collaboratively with key stakeholders, from executive leaders to planners, to ensure delivery of world class tools and processes. They will ensure Clorox planners are armed with the right tools and trained on their use, while playing a key role in helping to build capability and deploy the Planning COE strategy of the future. This will include activating new consumption driven AI/Auto ML statistical modeling and driving the integration of this capability within our planning system (Kinaxis Rapid Response).

Job Responsibilities:

• Be the first level of support for end users for Kinaxis Rapid response
• Actively engage with Kinaxis Product Innovation teams as a beta customer
• Responsible for testing and validation of software upgrades
• Partner with Solution Architect(s) to begin to learn authoring and system administration roles within RR
• Lead new user training
• Leverage AI/ML capabilities to drive improvements in demand signal
• Conduct training and learning sessions with planners
• Collaborate with business functions to drive user adoption
• Lead continuous learning sessions with existing Planners
• Establish and maintain best practices for tool as SME within COE (both domestically and as support for international COE teams)
• Manage Learning Management System for Kinaxis Rapid Response
• Drive automation improvements (ex. Promo code sales order history cleansing, TPM support, No touch/low touch stat model creation, BOT usage)
• Integrate new capabilities into existing process and system architecture (ex. Rubikloud)
• Work with IT support and product vendor for support on break fixes
• Create and maintain process documentation/Task flows
• Ability to focus on architecting RR planning solution for future projects
• Next generation tool and capability development
• Identify capability gaps for RR and provide feedback to Kinaxis for future roadmap capabilities/features/functionality/enhancements
• Obtain Kinaxis RR authoring certifications
• Maintain Kinaxis Rapid Response Application and Processes

Qualification & Experience:

• Working knowledge of data management and reporting systems (e.g. SQL, BI Web, Azure, Tableau)
• Consumer Packaged Goods experience preferred
• Experience with Integration of Advanced Planning Systems to ERP Systems, Legacy data, and spreadsheets
• Demonstrated strong aptitude in analysis, root cause identification, and problem solving
• Experienced in setting priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of the S&OP Process and how it integrates with Planning
• At least 7 years of work experience within Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or similar roles
• Excellent communicator with strong presentation skills and executive presence
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and drive solutions
• Understanding of how to employ the different areas of analytics in the forecasting process (Descriptive, Diagnostic, Predictive, Prescriptive)
• Technical experience using Advanced Planning Systems- Kinaxis Rapid Response experience preferred
• Ability to build strong relationships across functions, levels and regions
• Able to analyze data, draw reasonable conclusions, and formulate next steps
• Business Analytics and or Data Science background with working knowledge of statistical modeling tools like R or Python
