Job Description:

Clorox DTC — Clorox’s direct-to-consumer eCommerce team — is searching for an experienced Product Manager to lead the ecommerce experience for Clorox’s VMS brands (Vitamins, Minerals, and Supplements). This is a high visibility and impact role: you will drive the product strategy and roadmap for a group of successful brands with ambitious growth goals that are in need of new digital experiences and solutions. You will manage a cross-functional pod of amazing engineers, designers, data scientists, creatives, and more to execute your roadmap.You will not only build new digital capabilities focused on direct to consumer commerce, you will also explore and develop digital solutions to enhance all aspects of the consumer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Validate and test assumptions and hypotheses with real user data
  • Building relationships with stakeholder partners across the Clorox businesses you work with, and quickly understand the key drivers of those businesses and identify opportunities for DTC technology to improve business outcomes
  • Embedding with partners across the organization and quickly understanding their business and providing strategy and execution for digital solutions that seize upon their unique opportunities
  • Determine the metrics that define success for your products and implement tracking systems/processes for these metrics
  • Communicate regularly with company leaders and stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed and your team remains unblocked
  • Manage an external group of engineers to build and execute the roadmap, and making changes to process and personnel when needed to improve the team
  • Partner closely with Product Operations to create or improve existing processes to stream work with third parties and stakeholders
  • Build and own roadmaps, driving prioritization, and making decisions about tech investments (build vs buy)
  • Lead with a user-centric mindset that pushes the business to drive strategy and problem solving around solving real user problems
  • Optimize storefronts around best practices in SEO, growth loops, conversion funnels, and amazing user experiences
  • Use a “Build, Measure, Learn” testing approach to iterate on storefronts and provide information back to the business to better understand their customer and business

Qualification & Experience:

  • Using that data driven approach, you are decisive and persuasive in making decisions and moving projects forward
  • Next-level organizational skills to handle massive amount of information and facilitate decision making
  • You understand the benefits and tradeoffs when making critical build vs. buy decisions
  • Pluses: Experience with Magento, working with an omnichannel business/retailer and merchandising teams, managing third party engineering teams both on and offshore, Scrum Product Owner certification
  • 3+ years experience in Agile Product Management and working with various agile software development tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience in ecommerce; a deep understanding of ecommerce trends, best practices, and tools is a must
  • Experience working in a complex organization with multiple business units and business owners
  • Data driven to the core; instinctual use of data to solve problems and prioritize solutions
