Job Description:

The National Portfolio Manager is a part of the DISH Fiber Business Development team, which is responsible for developing relationships and cultivating sales opportunities in targeted multifamily markets. Individuals in this role will be responsible for performing various lead generation activities. This role will work closely with internal and external partners to maximize the volume and ROI of lead generation programs.

The National Portfolio Manager (NPM) will be responsible for developing and managing long-term strategic relationships with the largest multifamily ownership groups in the country to ultimately generate new leads for the Sales Team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand current telecom & IoT strategies and the associated revenue models
  • Act as the internal subject matter expert on the largest multifamily ownership groups, other major influencers (management companies & consultants), and current industry buying and internet service trends.
  • Support the DISH Fiber Sales team in the sales process for specific property opportunities.
  • Work closely with the marketing team and sales leaders to understand the broader DISH Fiber messaging strategy, how it will be deployed and how it relates to national portfolios.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to identify the target ownership groups / developers and the decision makers or influencers.
  • Network with industry decision makers and influencers via social media, industry events, direct engagement, etc.
  • Provide education on the benefits of bulk managed WiFi
  • Develop and act on structured contact cadence for contacting and driving mind share within targeted ownership groups.
  • Work with marketing and the Lead Generation Manager to conduct regular nurture campaigns
  • Develop deep relationships with decision makers and influencers within the targets
  • Maintain detailed records of all activity and report on progress to leadership and internal stakeholders.

  • Comfortable speaking to “C” level industry contacts
  • Team player who can build productive internal and external relationships
  • A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of B2B Sales, Business Development or Indirect Sales experience.

  • Multifamily sales experience preferred.
