Job Description:

The role serves as an objective internal consultant, partnering with internal stakeholders within Partners FCU and TWDC and external partners to evaluate, plan, design, and implement and/or refresh compensation programs, policies, and procedures that enable and support achievement of organizational and talent management goals and strategies. This position is also responsible for ensuring organizational compensation programs and initiatives are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations. This role will partner internally to ensure talent acquisition practices are evolved to generate a talent pipeline for critical roles within the organization and to ensure compensation priorities and initiatives are achieved.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducts periodic assessments of incentive plans and any implemented changes; presents findings to management.
  • Supports the overall delivery of the key compensation cycles, working closely with executives, management and HRBPs, to manage the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement with efficiency and desired effect.
  • Collects and analyzes data on the organizations’ current compensation and incentive plans relative to comparable competitive, industry, and market data and makes appropriate recommendations for changes and updates.
  • Understands the business and works as an entrepreneur in partnership with all levels of leadership, and partners within TWDC and outside companies, to facilitate partnership, trust, and influence and build and maintain meaningful networks
  • Prepares and maintains job descriptions for each position in the organization; ensures descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed.
  • Evaluates the organizations’ compensation and incentive plans with the goal to implement a consistently competitive and effective compensation structure for the company in alignment with TWDC and in support of organizational goals and talent management strategies.
  • Interviews and surveys employees and managers to gather and document job, organizational, and occupational information including duties, responsibilities, and skills required by each job.
  • Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range.
  • Researches compensation strategies and goals and suggests and implements transformative changes that impacts our overall employer proposition, enhances engagement and commitment, and achieves desired individual, team, and organizational performance targets including retention of high performers, acquisition of top talent, productivity and profitability.
  • Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position in alignment with TWDC.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with senior management.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in knowledge of compensation, incentive, and benefits consultancy reporting tools and surveys.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data is a necessity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Evidence of having successfully managed complex projects or programs.
  • Knowledge of all federal, state and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee compensation.
  • Extensive knowledge of human resource laws, regulations and best practices.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency is essential.
