Job Description:

The Disney+ team is responsible for the roll out and ongoing performance and operations of Disney+ across EMEA, specifically focused on programming strategy, marketing, customer acquisition and retention, partnerships, research and analytics.

This important role is a key part of Disney+, responsible for driving both subscriber growth test & learn prioritisation and product roadmaps for Disney+ for our customer base across EMEA. Reporting to Senior Manager, Product Innovation & Marketing Ops Optimisation, based in London, whilst working closely with US counterparts and local market teams, as well as regionally based forecasting and insights teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • As part of Product Innovation team, responsible for the product roadmap for EMEA product initiatives, with prioritization crucial across local and regional roadmaps
  • Establish a clear and consistent intake programme, to allow regional and local teams to present data and capability requirements/ ideas for consideration
  • Work alongside Project Manager, Test & Learn to establish technical requirements to implement experimentation priorities
  • Establish an effective implementation roadmap for customer automation requirements for all stages of the customer lifecycle (abandoned, welcome, in-life, churned)
  • Develop strong stakeholder relationships with Marketing Operations, Product and local market teams, to ruthlessly prioritise initiatives, showing real impact for EMEA subscriber growth
  • Developing a best in class prioritisation programme for capabilities, automation and bespoke data requests to support the EMEA Subscriber Growth team
  • Working closely with Engagement & Retention teams, define prioritisation for any technical, data or automation requirements for campaigns
  • Work closely with Acquisitions team on data requirements for off platform subscriber targeting/ growth

Job Requirements:

  • A deep understanding and interest in latest technology and SVOD techniques, awareness of the unique challenges of a consumer subscription business essential
  • Understanding of market nuances and dynamics to deliver a global strategy while also balancing local adaptions to drive local results
  • Thrives through working in cross-functional / multi-territory teams, ideally experience in an international matrix organisation
  • Experience in customer marketing and SVOD Engagement with experience managing a customer base with KPI responsibility
  • Experience within a subscription business and proven ability to deliver improvements to engagement KPIs
  • Successful track record in product/ operational teams, working within a global matrix for product prioritisation
  • An outstanding data driven approach to understand customer behaviors to optimize viewership
