DoorDash is looking for an experienced Health & Safety Lead to ensure the execution of all OSHA, CAL-OSHA, and Global regulatory policies and procedures. You will help our EHS Manager to support daily high-volume health, safety, and wellness requests and projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of facilities/equipment to identify existing or potential safety hazards and determine and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive the development of a strong safety reporting culture to achieve zero injuries and world-class performance.
  • Complete incident investigations and prepare incident reports.
  • Provide comprehensive risk assessments and EHS data analysis to build trust and confidence with the various business lines and influence change.
  • Conduct virtual or in-person ergonomic assessments.
  • Oversee the administration of the Learning Management System.
  • Create close working relationships with our various stakeholders to identify, brainstorm, create and deliver safety and security training materials to meet local regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in managing the EHS program by ensuring compliance with all local, state, federal, and international codes regarding environmental, health, and safety.
  • Monitor industry regulatory trends to proactively address potential challenges.
  • Submit required health and safety or environmental regulatory reports and submissions.
  • Promote safety by working with all departments to analyze situations and recommend safety improvements.
