Job Description:
The Central Email Marketing Executive will work closely with the Central Marketing Manager, the European marketing teams, the CRM team and key agency and supplier partners, to support the delivery of Europe-wide email marketing campaigns and creative assets. They will manage the creative development and production of pan-European email campaigns, and will manage the deployment of assets for the European marketing teams to execute locally.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support in maintaining the communication planner across all marketing activity
- Working with the CRM Analyst, define, deliver and monitor the marketing evaluation framework with a focus on driving constant improvements in ROI from the email trading programme
- Help create and manage a self-serve process for European marketing teams to maximise the use of email as a channel to deliver against local objectives
- Be the central point of contact for trade-driving, campaign-specific emails across Europe
- Work closely with the CRM team to help define customer contact rules, ensuring customers are receiving the most relevant and commercially appropriate messages at the optimum frequency
- Drive the promotional email marketing programmed across Europe to maximize revenue for flights and holidays
- Support the production team in the build, audience selection and dispatch of emails
- Manage projects from brief writing, to creative development, proofing, testing, deployment, results and reporting
- Work closely with key agency partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Manage multiple projects to scope, timings and budgets & share and apply lessons learned for continuous improvement
- Ensure customer information is held or transmitted securely in accordance with company guidelines
- Define test and learn programs for trade emails to optimize attributable revenue to the email channel
- End-to-end management of pan-European email marketing campaigns to support tactical sales, brand building, schedule releases and easyJet’s sustainability initiatives
- Adhere to brand guidelines – checking with legal and brand as necessary
Qualification & Experience:
- A confident approach to agency management with the ability to lead and inspire agency teams
- Highly numerate and comfortable working with results of numerical analysis
- Able to communicate and manage multiple internal stakeholders and motivate, inspire, influence and win confidence from others.
- Able to priorities, and organize a varied and full workload and work well under pressure
- European language proficiency is an advantage. (i.e. French, German, Spanish, Italian)
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of delivery
- Previous experience with email marketing platforms desired but not essential
- People skills – experience in cooperating with virtual teams
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Substantial experience in a B2C Direct Marketing role with strong knowledge and demonstration of email marketing techniques such as copywriting, design, segmentation and testing
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- At least 5 years’ prior experience in a marketing role, preferably within an international organisation
