Job Description:

Support the Executive Director of Global Local & Cultural Innovation in preparation of 2 multi-ethnic toolkits for skincare hero/priority launch products to increase trial and usage amongst multi-ethnic consumers. Will have access to and gain understanding of existing data, analytics and insights but leveraging candidate’s creativity and functional expertise for fresh ideas in story-telling, communication, written/visual expression of benefits, sourcing competitive best practices

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify competitive skincare products and/or brands relevant to multi-ethnic consumers and incorporate into toolkit
  • Demonstrate multi-ethnic consumer trends and key skin concerns by incorporating compelling imagery, social media posts & Influencers and incorporating into toolkit
  • Distribute toolkit to team for input and feedback and incorporate each team member’s feedback into draft and prepare for SVP review in a timely fashion
  • Adapt and refine toolkit information for local and cultural relevance for the UK region; work with UK team for input/feedback
  • Leverage existing insights, analytics and team expertise with candidate’s experience, ideas to conceptualize fresh approaches to story-telling, communication and go to market ideas
  • Incorporate SVP feedback into toolkit then submit final version to SVP and ED to be distributed to brand teams
  • Produce 1-2 Multi-ethnic toolkits for a hero/priority launch for both NOAM and UK
  • Subcategory knowledge, technical insights, behaviors, key benefits of multi-ethnic consumers; how they are similar/different from Caucasian consumers, if/how any differences are meaningful in how brands can be more relevant in the go to market plans of their heroes/priority program

  • Key trends impacting select heroes and the nuances of those trends in multi-ethnic communities; connection of trends to go to market plans of brand heroes/priority programs
  • Greater knowledge and understanding of beauty culture of key multi-ethnic consumer groups for US, UK
  • Greater fluency on innovative competitive activity targeting multi-ethnic consumers
  • Exposure to multiple brands, functions and levels of leadership
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and detail oriented
  • Subcategory knowledge, technical insights, behaviors, key benefits of multi-ethnic consumers;
  • Greater knowledge and understanding of beauty culture of key multi-ethnic consumer groups for US, UK
  • Existing expertise regarding multi-ethnic consumer and the skincare category is not necessary, but passion and ability to learn is a requirement
