Job Description:
Lead, Coach & Direct the development, implementation, and execution of Global TPM Optimization Process to reduce Plant supplied Materials. Foster Drop shipments and Direct Buy Model to gain efficiency, reduce cost, and improve leadtimes. Build relationships Cross-Function to develop and drive KPI’s to show a redution of plant supplied Materials, drive efficiency and reduce supply chain lead-times as key theme, ie speed to Market. Work with Planning and Plant Operations to Outsource any Non – Value activities, i.e. Color Solutions. etc. Refine and create Scorecarding to track progress to socialize with Key Stake-Holders and Senior Leadership. Lead day-to-day Coporate Sampling and develop strong relationships with Brand Teams, key Suppliers, work with TPM ED on Strategy deployment. Collaborate with Brand Teams as needed and drive Innovation, Sustainability. Ensure Brand follows process & guidelines to drive accurate Year 2 and 3 Volumes, to offset MOQ and pricing discprepancies
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Sustainability efforts within assigned Commodities / Category. (5%)
- Work collaboratively accross the Supply Chain (ie Planning, QA, R&D, Brand, GSR, GBSC, etc) to drive process Optimization, Quality and
- Supply improvements through strong Supplier engagement, standardization of Process, and improvements of systems. Develop, advocate, and implement sourcing strategies in TPM for both Raw Materials and Components to achieve short and long-term objectives to reduce plant supplied materials, by reducing cost and lead-times. Create & Drive robust score-carding to track progres by working closely with related internal departments (i.e. QA, Planning , R&D, MM, GSR, PMO,) to ensure that GSR commitments meet all targeted requirements to reduce plant supplied materials. Be a Steward of change for Supply Chain Optimization. (35%)
- Direct day to day Corporate Sampling needs. Be the Direct Point of Contact for all day to day actions with Brand Teams and Key Suppliers. Work with Executive Director on establishing Corporate Sampling Strategy, and JVC Goals. (35%)
- Utilize the tools, and processes to optimize sourcing, supplier activities, PPV, MPA, DPO reporting, etc. Work collaboratively with cross team members to prioritize reporting as needed by the TPM Category to drive positive results. (5%)
- Lead the budget process for assigned category (5%)
- Develop and Lead the strategy to mitigate Supplier and industrial risks, drive and establish strong Business continuity to ensure strong service. (10%)
Job Requirements:
- SAP or similar Supply Chain experience preferred / Strong Analytical Skills / Microsoft Profiency ie Excel, Power-Point, Etc.
- 5+ years experience
- Must be a fact based decision maker, pragmatic, resourceful, and proactive
- Travel as needed , Less than 5-10% of Time.
- Six Sigma Certification Preferred ie Green Belt or Black Belt, CPSM a Plus
- Must have a “can-do” and “will-do” attitude with respect to accomplishing goals, making the numbers, and satisfying the needs of internal and external customers “
- Local Travel within NYC and Long Island – 20%”
- University degree
