Job Description: Provide quality customer service within the store. Responsible for maintaining standards in accordance with the standard practice manual, maximizing sales through excellent customer service and minimizing shrink through proper utilization of standard practice. Job Responsibilities: Ensure that all advertising and sales promotion materials are properly utilized Wear the Food Lion uniform, complete with name badge, when on duty, has a neat and clean appearance while adhering to the Food Lion dress code Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with primary emphasis on fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience Replace tags for each item that changes price in all departments Order and maintain all Warehouse and DSD replacement shelf tags Make tag corrections on any item not transmitted according to price changes Report all associate and customer accidents in accordance with established Food Lion procedures to the Manager on Duty Observe and correct all unsafe conditions that could cause associate or customer accidents Courteous and helpful to other associates Understand and follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures Maintain a complete understanding of and adherence to company guidelines, policies and standard practice Pull tags and hangs closeouts for items deleted Scan the product or tag for each price change to ensure accuracy Maintain signage for displays during the price change process Verify prices and tags for 1000 items in the store each week, using the wireless hand held unit, according to the schedule supplied by the Customer Support Center and corrects any differences Communicate prices not transmitted correctly or any “not on files” to the Customer Support Center via Voice of Retail Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations Maintain tags for new items and ensure that the items scan correctly Job Requirements: Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions Ability to use technical information to solve problems Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills High school graduate or equivalent preferred Job Details: Company: Food Lion Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Charlotte, NC, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacancyoptions.com
