Job Responsibilities:

  • Build strong, productive working relationships with environmental professionals and manufacturing/non-manufacturing contacts
  • Employ standard procedures and best practices to ensure environmental compliance
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable national, regional and local environmental requirements
  • Represent Ford’s interests on environmental matters with local, regional and national regularly agencies, community groups, etc.
  • Provide technical and regulatory support for environmental media/operational subjects
  • Support achievement of business plan objectives and targets (e.g. compliance index, water, waste, energy, hydrocarbon, etc.)
  • Develop accurate and complete documentation to support facility/manufacturing environmental compliance and business plan objectives/targets
  • Support facility and product programs through vital permit actions, capacity planning studies and environmental project funding requests
  • Fundamental understanding of environmental rules and regulations
  • Supervise progress and spending on environmental capital and expense projects
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory/corporate requirements
  • Provide required environmental training to plant employees
  • Support technical aspects of environmental systems at facilities
  • Utilize environmental software applications (e.g. GEM, MATS, PERS, Business Objects, SharePoint, etc.) to help achieve business plan objectives/targets

Job Requirements:

  • 1+ years or more experience with Microsoft to include; Word ,PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Valid Michigan nursing license
  • Registered RN
  • High School Diploma /GED
  • 1+ years or more experience in injury or critical care area
