Job Description:

• May also prepare monthly financials and variance analyses for O&M departments
  Ensure depts. know their forecasts and challenge them to be more efficient
  Develop and maintain a five-year Outage and O&M budget
  Track department Accelerate ideas to ensure planned implementation is on track
  Candidate must pass required Federal drug and background screening for site access
  Track, review and approve various vendor invoices
  Review vendor contracts to ensure within budget before approving
  Work with related site departments to prepare outage cost estimates
  Create and maintain SAP reports as needed to perform required cost tracking activities
  Position is located at Turkey Point Nuclear Plant in Homestead, Florida
  Primary role is prepare, manage and track site refueling outage budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
  Track forecasts during month to ensure targets are met and elevate any forecast risks timely
  Learn other Nuclear specific programs as needed to perform required tasks

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepares operating budgets, maintains records, and audits accounts for units/departments
• Reviews departmental expenditures to ensure compliance with budget allocations
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
• Serves as subject matter expert using extensive knowledge and expertise in the areas of accounting, finance, and budget
• Maintains accurate spending records and establishes measures for budgetary control
• Compiles and reviews budgets, taking into consideration actual performance, previous expenditures, and estimated expenses and income

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience: 7+ years
