Job Responsibilities:
- Support in specification creation and updating of existing specs.
- Strive for improvements and efficiencies in Engineering area
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical development and trends in the field of expertise
- Execute engineering processes ensuring that quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost
- Develop partnerships with vendors, suppliers, and operations to allow completion of projects and tasks.
- Assist with startup of new plant/technology
- Execute facility directives within established timelines and cost parameters.
- Execute engineering processes ensuring that quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost
- Monitor KPIs for engineering processes including smart factory.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical development and trends in the field of expertise
- Liaise with other stakeholders within the plant in order to provide professional support and advice (quality, supply chain, maintenance, production, SHE)
Job Requirements:
- Communication skills: collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills (oral and written)
- Project management skills: strong work ethic and ability to meet project deadlines
- Good basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Project) essential, AutoCAD, and SAP skills a definite plus.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- More advanced Chemical engineering concepts a plus.
- Excellent project management skills and attention to deadlines.
- Able to intern [part-time or full-time] beginning in Jan 2025 through May 2025 with opportunity for extension if desired
- Currently enrolled Engineering student; 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: ability to analyze data and develop fact-based recommendations resulting from the analysis
