Job Description: The Senior Lead Solutions Architect (Akamai) will monitor and evaluate trends in platform behavior at the edge on a release-to-release basis. You will be asked to conduct forensic analysis to provide “deep-dive” analysis of issues and defects. You should have working knowledge of Akamai as a CDN and its caching capabilities, phased release configuration, WAF and bot mitigation strategies. You will focus primarily on the security configuration aspects of our Akamai configurations and secondarily on delivery configurations. Job Responsibilities: Work with Information Security and Cloud Operations as required Field requests from internal teams (information security, fraud, enterprise DevOps) seeing anomalous trends, conduct research and report back with an action plan Collaborate with Developers and infrastructure teams to help resolve performance issues Work with the broader Digital Reliability Engineering team on overall platform health and monitoring Maintain existing configurations at Akamai and improve them per requests from the web and mobile app development teams Monitor and alert security and fraud teams to potential compromises of security while working on mitigation Work on Akamai Web Performance Product Ion Premier and Kona Security Product suite: Web Application Firewall (WAF), Bot Manager, SiteShield, Client Reputation, FastDNS Maintain and improve security configurations to protect origin from nefarious actors Job Requirements: Ability to solve complex problems using logs and stack traces (Splunk) Identification of performance issues within digital environment Solid understanding of Splunk and Akamai monitoring tools A high level of technical capability, outstanding communication skills and a firm commitment to quality and performance Demonstrable ability to identify the best solution within Akamai for new initiatives within digital space Qualification & Experience: Ten (10) years of professional experience in Technology or related field Five (5) years of specialized experience in Akamai space Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience Twelve (12) years of work experience in Technology or related field Job Details: Company: Hilton Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Memphis, TN, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacancyoptions.com
