Job Description:
This role will have end to end accountability for planning and delivering IT projects in HR Analytics, HR Operations and Global Mobility Service areas. This role will will be the IT single point of contact for the customer, suppliers and other IT functions. This individual will bring solid IT background with strong project and program management skills, experience with HR data and systems and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of end to end project delivery
Job Responsibilities:
- Understand functional business requirements for the workforce planning technology solution; liaise with the technical teams (development, testing and support teams) to ensure requirements are understood and translated accurately for solution delivery
- Partner with the business stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of the business processes and priorities pertinent to the Workforce Planning initiative
- Own and drive new projects, enhancements and special initiatives related to Workforce Planning partnering with the appropriate stakeholders.
- Activities include working with IT Business Partners, suppliers and internal teams on effort estimation and costing, facilitating solution architecture design, design implementation as well as
- Drive and facilitate stakeholder discussion to develop short term and Long-term technology strategy and roadmap and provide strategic thought leadership for strategy execution
- Develop a solid understanding of upstream and downstream dependencies of the workforce planning process and tools; coordinate with system and data owners during and after solution deployment as needed
Job Requirements:
- PMP and CSM certification preferred
- Experience with MS Office (especially advance level in Excel), MS Project,
- Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision.
- 5 years plus experience working in Project and Program Management role
- Ability to prioritize, influence and work with cross-functional global teams
- Ability to foster good relationships, ability to prioritize, influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional global teams
- Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- Experience with MS Office, Project Management, Agile and Waterfall techniques
- Experience in Honeywell Human Resources core platforms including interfaces and integration solutions
- Experience in project management tools (JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project) and methodology (Agile, Waterfall)
- Futuristic orientation, contemporary business thinker with an ability to work in a highly matrixed organization and influence without formal authority
- PMP and/or ITIL certification preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in Agile and waterfall methodologies
- Strong oral and written communication skills, ability to engage with senior leaders across business functions
- Experience in implementing HR technology solutions projects
- Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems without guidance or supervision.
