Honeywell Careers – Digital Integration Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Integration Engineer to join our Melbourne operations. Working with fellow engineers, the customer and industry specialists, you will be responsible for the integration deliverables from the design phase through to project completion for projects in Premium Commercial, Healthcare and Transportation vertical markets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and drive external vendors for innovative solutions
• From integration and networking design conception, staging and testing through sign off you will provide an integral role in achieving project milestones.
• Work with the relevant project stakeholders, including the client and the builder to workshop designs and solutions to enable development of interface matrixes.
• Prepare design submittals and documentation as per stakeholder requirements, ensuring commitment dates are met.
• Strong software integration and networking skills will assist you in coordinating the roll out, implementation and commissioning of complex systems and custom interfaces.
• This role will suit a highly motivated person who enjoys working to the highest standards, in a fast-paced technical environment with a lot of variety
• You will be responsible for the delivery of all aspects of third-party integration between Honeywell and external system providers.
• Utilising your networking skills to set up a test lab environment, liaising with third party vendors, the customer and other project stakeholders to stage the interfacing of multiple third-party systems.

Job Requirements:

• The ability to work in a team environment, whilst having the autonomy to set your own priorities to ensure delivery of the project
• The ability to obtain and maintain relevant security clearances as required
• A background in Software Integration and ICT Network Implementation
• Proven experience with Tridium’s Niagara framework and custom interfaces advantageous
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience – preferably from large-scale engineering projects
• Demonstrate a proven track record of successfully delivering tech-based engineering projects, with previous experience in on-site construction environments
• Previous experience coordinating with multiple vendors and industry technical specialists
• Excellent communication skills
