Job Description:
The efficient and accurate management of Building Information Models (BIM) to defined standards and to meet contractual requirements of Honeywell projects. Liaise with and leading BIM counterparts from design and construction teams in a collaborative environment from inception to handover of large scale projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Determine and carry out the BIM requirements for each project to meet customer and Honeywell needs. This will likely include:
- Review 3D Models from consultants and contractors
- Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs
- Hold weekly coordination meetings project team members
- Early design review and constructability analysis o Manage / Update BIM Project Documents
- Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit
- Attend Client and Consultant co-ordination meetings.
- 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification
- Provide accurate estimates of hours required to complete packages of work.
Job Requirements:
- Attention to detail and adherence to standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office
- At least 4 years 2D and 3D CAD and BIM co-ordination experience with technical systems for electrical, telecommunications, security and building management systems
- Experience within the construction industry
- Experience with managing remote teams and contractors
- Proficient in the latest approved BIM/CAD software packages.
- Excellent time management and the ability to work unsupervised
- Work collaboratively within a team environment across different countries and cultures
