Job Description:

The Senior Project Management Specialist will manage projects for Honeywell’s Building Technology customers including new construction.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining project meeting minutes and distribution
  • Reporting project progress to the customer and Honeywell project team
  • Reviewing all job contract documents for requirements and flow downs
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining project schedules
  • Provide oversight and input for estimation of upcoming projects
  • Maintain projects within budget and on plan
  • Evaluating subcontractor performance against requirements
  • Oversee technical installations and provide support for broader teams
  • Management, supervision and coordination of all on-site construction activities
  • Main point of contact for the customer

Job Requirements:

  • Understanding of local AHJ requirements and NFPA, IBC codes
  • Project Management financial experience
  • US Citizenship is required
  • A valid Drivers License
  • Experience implementing safety management measures on construction projects
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills with great attention to detail
  • 2+ years experience Construction Project Management or technical knowledge
  • 2+ years experience using MS Office
  • Primavera P6 project portfolio management experience
  • 5 + Years of Construction Supervision and/or Project Management experience
  • Obtain OSHA 30 within 90 days of hire
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Construction Management
  • Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical and/or controls systems
  • Experience managing and supervising employees, subcontractors and trades people
