Job Responsibilities:
- Support the scanning of all network attached assets and applications
- Managing various tickets within ServiceNow for customer requested scan jobs, reports and user access
- Provide Technical support to VM scanning tools across the enterprise, which may include set up, configuring, scheduling and execution of vulnerability scans
- Collaborate with developers, development managers, technology peers, and business contacts to identify security vulnerabilities
- Research new strategic tools and processes to enhance and advance our vulnerability management program and scanning processes.
- Manage day to day scanning activities, schedules and troubleshooting
- Operate and maintain all scanning tools to ensure the service is operating effectively
- Create and maintain key performance indicators for operational success that is reported to senior leadership
- Ensure successful Authentication on all assets and applications scanned
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of, and practice within the elements of host, network and application security
- Strong working knowledge of web server technologies including IIS and Apache
- 2+ years of experience with various operating systems, UNIX, Linux and Windows Server/Workstations
- Enterprise vulnerability scanning experience using tools such as Rapid7, Qualys or Tenable
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other IT/technical degree
- 4+ years of relevant experience using vulnerability scanning tools, ideally Rapid7
