Job Description:

New Fast Casual Concept has entered the Atlanta market and is growing and we are looking for a Senior Manager of Learning and Development and Franchise Support- hoots wings (Fast Casual Concept). hoots restaurants offer fast casual dining with a limited, moderately priced menu that features chicken wings, seafood, and sandwiches, together with beer along with other food and beverage offerings. This role serves as a ‘boots on the ground’ spending 80% of your time in the field implementing and monitoring onboarding, training, development strategies while ensuring programs result in life-changing experiences. This position is responsible for developing, revising, and executing training programs that are in line with overall company strategic goals. This includes researching emerging industry trends, concepts and techniques to update current training curriculum as appropriate, monitors training results that include tracking information, costs and effectiveness and feedback for company training programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages, coaches, develops and mentors the NSO Training team that is responsible for coordinating training teams
  • Provides training expertise for company and franchise operations
  • Cascades training rollouts, updates, and revisions effectively to company and Franchise Operations
  • Collaborates with SMEs, including multiple departments, to ensure high quality design of identified learning objects for existing and new training programs
  • Partners with Operations leadership (VPs, DOs, RMs, DDMs, FBDs) for operation strategies training solutions based on gaps that exist
  • Oversees franchise Training Store certifications, newly onboarded Owner/Operator Training, and developmental workshops
  • Identifies training gaps then develops and cascades training implementations, updates, and revisions effectively to the Franchise Operations team
  • Provide support for Franchise Operations through field communication and onboarding, on-site Franchise training support, and fulfills Franchise training requests
  • Hold Team Members and Franchisees accountable to Brand Standards
  • Coaches on Brand Standard Audit Process
  • Provides additional coaching, team building, development, and communication by creating ongoing learning experiences
  • 80% of time will be spent in our corporate / franchise restaurant locations executing people leadership & development
  • Directs New Store Opening Trainings
  • Provide oversight and project management direction for certifications and workshops for development of restaurant managers and hourly team members

Job Requirements:

  • Successful completion of hoots Leadership Programs, or similar leadership program
  • Experience with LMS, Schoox or others
  • This position requires approximately 70-80% travel domestic and international. Valid Passport and unrestricted ability to travel globally
  • Servsafe Food and Servsafe Alcohol certified
  • Must have new store opening experience in a franchise model
  • This position is based from our Atlanta RSC location and must to be open to residing in the area
  • 5+ years’ experience in learning and development, fast casual restaurant industry preferred
  • 5+ years’ management and leadership experience
  • Preferred degree in Business Management (or related subject)
  • 3+ years’ experience in Franchise Operations, preferred
  • Experience in a complex, fast-paced environment
