As Sales & Supply Support (SSS) Specialist, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Produce necessary follow up regarding operational processes in the store, including phasing in and out, overstock and concrete, activities and non-central shortages.
  • Together with the SSS Manager, acting as the main point of contact in the store for all range administration and operational supply related questions for our department managers and other functions.
  • Work actively with the commercial team with the range change process led by the commercial team by providing information regarding sales space parameters, expected sales start, quantity and remaining outgoing quantities.
  • Ensuring that the supplying process in our store is fully integrated with the communication and selling processes.
  • Maximising goods flow efficiency by monitoring that the operational forecasting in the store is in line with the order parameters and available sales space capacities/parameters.

Job Requirements:

The Logistics team as a whole contributes to a smooth goods flow operation in the store and warehouse and a great meeting with the customer in all sales channels by ensuring a consistently high availability of our offer, with the highest quality. Within the area of SSS you will help ensure excellence in the area of availability, balancing range and space, forecasting and ordering for the store in order to achieve agreed service levels at the lowest possible cost. Through this role, you will broaden your knowledge and understanding of IKEA by seeing where it all begins, with the arrival of the flat pack into the store, then onto the shelf and into the customer’s trolley.
