Job Description:

Jet2.com is recruiting a Team Manager – Vetting & Compliance to lead a team and partner with several business areas in the delivery of an efficient and pro-active onboarding and Security Vetting Service. This vital role ensures the team delivers an effective service for our business and a smooth process for candidates in a high-volume and highly regulated environment.

Job Responsibilities:

The Team Manager – Vetting & Compliance will ensure all required vetting activity is delivered in a timely manner, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and managing the candidate experience. You will be commercially minded, ensuring key priorities such as operationally critical start dates are communicated to the team and external partners, whilst being able to re-prioritise and adjust plans on a regular basis – often at short notice. Reporting is a critical part of this role and you will take responsibility for designing and delivering regular reports to a variety of stakeholders across the business. These will contain a large amount of data and you will present this in an easy to understand format and with in-depth knowledge of the key deliverables of your team. You will also be the primary contact for Airport ID offices in the UK and overseas as well as our external vetting partners and their performance.

Job Requirements:

This role would suit an experienced Team Leader/Manager who has worked in an operational, people focused environment and used to working to stretching targets. You will have experience of producing regular reports and the ability to present data in an appropriate way for a variety of audiences. The Team Manager – Vetting & Compliance will make and develop relationships easily and be clear, articulate and credible in their communication as you will regularly presenting to and interacting with senior stakeholders within the business. Calm under pressure, you will have experience working in a fast paced and continually changing environment and demonstrate a track record of delivery against deadlines. Please note, the successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a Counter Terrorism Check (CTC).
