Job Description:

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Duty Manager is responsible for the day to day management of all Jet2.com operations at the airport, ensuring our Jet2.com and Jet2holidays customers consistently receive first class levels of customer service.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Regional Manager with key operational meetings as well as planning, recruitment and resource allocation, to ensure operational requirements are met
  • Ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures
  • There may be the requirement to travel, to support other Airports, at busy times
  • Monitoring and analyzing airport key performance indicators and making recommendations for improvements
  • Working effectively with our key stakeholders, including ground handling partners, airport authorities and our Jet2.com and Jet2holidays colleagues, to drive a ‘One Team’ ethos at all times.
  • Oversight of all Jet2.com Ground Operations activity at the airport, both landside and airside
  • Leading our Jet2.com operational team at the airport, ensuring the delivery of a VIP customer experience

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will have experience of leading and managing teams, ideally from within an aviation environment. We are looking for an inspirational leader, who is committed to the development of others and who shares our passion for delivering the highest standards in customer service and safety. Excellent administration skills are required, including roster planning and KPI management. Strong operational experience within an airport environment is essential for this role and you will ideally have experience of managing/building relationships with service providers and senior stakeholders. As you will be working with our UK customer base, fluency in both English and Turkish is required.
