Job Description:

Reporting to the Shift Leader, the Mechanic will be responsible for carrying out line maintenance on all Jet2.com aircraft, ensuring tasks are carried out efficiently and on time. This position plays an important role in ensuring our aircraft are maintained to a very high standard and that delays are kept to a minimum.

Job Responsibilities:

You will perform defect rectification and routine servicing as directed by the Shift Leader, carrying out aircraft maintenance tasks according to European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) requirements and regulations. You will also be expected to be available at short notice for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery. After a period of training, it is expected that the Mechanic will work a 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off shift pattern.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will ideally hold a valid and current EASA ‘A’ License. You will have an operational background in aircraft maintenance, with experience working on commercial aircraft. You will have full working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements, excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
