KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Travel Sourcing and Operations to join our Finance and Accounting organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and execute category strategies and maintain sourcing plans for Firm travel
- Lead all aspects from requirements gathering, sourcing, negotiations, contracting and supplier management processes to reporting
- Analyze supplier proposals, conduct objective evaluation and prepare recommendations to facilitate supplier selection process
- Facilitate negotiations with travel suppliers including air and ground transportation, lodging, travel technology, corporate card, TMC and others as needed
- Lead cross-functional teams through the requirements gathering, sourcing, negotiations, contracting and supplier management processes
- Partner with various compliance functions, including legal, F&A, independence, digital security and risk, to ensure adherence with applicable policies, regulatory conditions and achievement of favorable contractual terms; manage the travel supply base and drive continuous improvement for category scope, reviewing suppliers against contractual obligations/SLAs, assessing risk
Job Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative and influencing skills to effectively navigate a complex management and organization structure with a high degree of ambiguity
- Demonstrated analytical, financial, problem solving, organization and project management skills to include stakeholder and meeting facilitation skills
- Minimum seven years of travel sourcing experience required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience; MBA and other relevant degree /certification highly desirable
- Experience with category management strategies for the travel category, opportunity diagnostic, strategic sourcing process, supplier management with a proven track record of delivering business impact
- Proved experience in the travel supply chain and a track record of leading sustainable high impact sourcing approaches beyond competitive bidding
