KPMG is currently seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Customer & Operations for our Consulting practice.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with a team of professionals to produce related project deliverables on a scheduled basis and also produce project deliverables yourself
  • Collaborate closely with other technical members of the team to plan, deploy, and support SOA components, configure repeatable CICD pipeline using Bitbucket, Bamboo and Ant/Maven scripts
  • Provide operation and maintenance support for core Oracle infrastructure like Oracle WebLogic 12c, Oracle 12c Database and Oracle SOA 12c
  • Execute key Patching cycles for Security patches for Oracle WebLogic/SOA 12c and Analyze JVM thread dumps, heap dumps and root cause analysis of crash dumps; both agile and waterfall SDLC methodologies may be utilized
  • Perform installation, configuration and administration of Oracle SOA 12c suite
  • Engage projects as a Senior Developer to automate build and deployment processes for large integration project using a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of recent Oracle WebLogic and Oracle database installation, configuration and administration experience required along with three to four years of experience DevOps experience with large scale project from initiation to production
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in technical sciences or information systems
  • Hands on experience with WLST scripting, Database backup and recovery operations and the understanding of essential networking concepts including subnets firewalls routing transport protocols; experience with CICD tools like BitBucket, Bamboo / Jenkins and ant /maven scripting is preferred
  • An understanding of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicaid Information Technology Architecture (MITA) with a commercial solution vendor or state IT organization is helpful
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral with the ability to work within teams and function at times with limited oversight
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future and able to travel may be up to 80-100%
