KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Firmwide Learning Approach & Planning to join our Learning & Development organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and manage stakeholder relationships; engage stakeholders in identifying, defining and scoping strategic learning needs; manage the intake process as part of the core forum of multi-disciplinary L&D professionals; planning and executing appropriate needs analysis if required
- Independently apply performance consulting methods and practices in proposing learning solution options with tangible business outcomes; anticipate learning needs and opportunities with stakeholders and collaborating regularly to understand business strategies
- Work collaboratively with the instructional design team and/or learning architect to develop solution architecture (design) and effectively gain stakeholder agreement; lead analyses of where learning fits into learning paths and how it relates to other similar learning
- Provide active engagement throughout project lifecycle to ensure continued alignment with stakeholders and focus on shared and agreed to outcomes
- Translate business strategy into learning requirements, roadmaps and lifecycle recommendations for assigned portfolio of learning programs
- Develop programs that will encompass core leadership and business competencies to enable KPMG professionals to better understand the marketplace and address client needs while identifying relevant trends, topics, performance expectations and learning objectives
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated skills in client relationship management and influence, performance consulting methodologies, performance improvement and measurement skills
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, tracking deadlines & milestones and communicating status while also being attentive to details
- Ability to effectively lead large, complex team-based projects with varied levels of stakeholders and sponsors; previous performance management experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of people, lead large and small group discussions as well as drive difficult conversations to successful outcomes
- Minimum ten years’ experience implementing strategic learning solutions in a large, corporate environment preferably within a professional services firm
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; master’s degree in Human Resources, Applied Psychology or Learning Strategies is preferred
