Job Description:

This senior and high profile role and reports into the Head of OEH and will focus on implementing and influencing the strategic approach for OEH and have overall responsibility for projects that will impact across OEH and KBS. This will require building strategic relationships with, and influencing leaders, across OEH, KBS and beyond.

The role will require you to help further establish the OEH Hub leads and wider team as trusted experts who deliver a first class service by looking for ways to streamline processes and enhance the client experience. You will deputise for the Head of OEH in matters relating to projects and strategy across OEH hubs. You will also represent the Head of OEH at specified meetings, therefore a high level overview and understanding, interpretation of the systems, policies and BAU in all areas is essential.

This role also includes people management/people leader and development for Managers/Assistant Manager grades and offshore resources within OEH.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Exposure to external suppliers can be extensive and the need to negotiate and maintain relationships together with judgement and recommendation to resolve issues or improve delivery and costs is also integral to the role.
  • Manage the expansion of services into OEH including assessment of the feasibility of new service propositions and any additional scope requirements for OEH
  • Liaise with partners, senior leaders and clients over a wide range of issues to ensure best practice and utilisation of systems
  • As a senior leader to act as an ambassador for OEH – retaining excellent client relationships keeping abreast of their needs now and for tomorrow.
  • Be accountable for the delivery of internal OEH projects, strategy and plans to support the requirements of the key OEH leadership team.
  • Audiences include partners, Directors, senior manager hub leads, people leaders and all colleagues, as well as function-specific communities.
  • Capability to manage the portfolio of projects within or impacting OEH, building out the priorities and roadmap for service rollout
  • Manage all contracts across OEH, looking at opportunities to transform and reduce costs
  • Continue to optimise the delivery model across COE/OEH and self service, offshore and automation, and hybrid working
  • The role is responsible for the Transform area of OEH with a focus on improving OEH operations, driving strategy across OEH, transitioning services into/out of OEH, and managing BPO contracts
  • Responsible for the communications and engagements strategy within OEH and to the wider business to promote OEH
  • People Leader for the OEH central mgt team

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent written/ oral communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a focussed, simple and commercially relevant manner
  • Helps others to understand how they can exceed expectations and contribute to the overall business strategy

  • Proactive ability to combine strategic thinking with a demonstrable track record in successful delivery and implementation
