KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong understanding of client’s business, products, performance and tax accounting policies
- Prepare tax compliance, checking, classifying and compiling information within a previously defined framework
- Support senior associate/management in work assignments and develop, motivate, and train less experienced staff members
- Team with other professionals to identify new marketplace opportunities and grow the KPMG Tax practice
- Prepare claims on taxable income, deductible expenses, reliefs and allowances; maintain flexibility by adapting effectively when dealing with different tasks, responsibilities, people and environments
- Manage an account load of approximately 1,000 to 2,000 fiduciary and agency accounts
Job Requirements:
- Experience with MS Office applications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, EA, J.D., or LLM (note that any candidate hired by KPMG into this position that doesn’t currently possess one of the aforementioned credentials/designations will be required to secure one within one year from the commencement of employment)
- Must be able to meet challenging client requirements and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, writing and research abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of Internal Revenue Code
- A minimum of eight years of public accounting and/or trust tax experience
- Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
