As the Motion Design Team Leader within CREATE, you will work with Design Assistant Managers to provide operational and strategic leadership to the Motion Design Team which is made up of people both in the UK and India.

Working from home, or in the office when required, providing a valuable service to our KPMG clients. Output is frequently high profile; the quality, accuracy and timeliness of the end product is therefore of critical importance.

We can offer you a fantastic opportunity to expand your knowledge in a busy environment based at the heart of the internal creative team. You will be working alongside other creatives on a wide range of work from marketing through to proposals.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be an expert and go to point for both clients and CREATE team members for all things motion based
• Develop and deliver creative, strategically considered design work across all animated channels
• Be accountable for creative motion design process start to end
• Take storyboards and assets to create slick animations across multiple varied in app experiences
• Experience creating 2d/3d animations across a variety of formats and styles
• Able to understand and work within brands to really drive creative messages
• Own projects from start to finish (working from concepting through to delivery)
• Assist in creatively overseeing a dedicated motion graphics team including animators and 3d Designers/Illustrators / post production
• Work with the concept team to help storyboard and ideate for video experiences
• Confidently present work to clients and internally if needed and called to
• Lead animation projects and report progress to Creative Direction team
• Help to brief other motion designers, looking out for any challenges or concerns
• Challenge, interpret and answer design briefs with clean, impactful, intelligent work
• Understand debrief / feedback sessions and be able to act upon this to improve the team
• Work with the UK leadership team to implement strategy and bring together all team members in both the UK and India and get them all on the same path
• Audio engineering / post production desired
• Ensure innovation is cultivated within the department to drive new opportunity
• Create strong working relationships with key stakeholders within KPMG

• Experience in 3D software like Cinema 4d, Blender or Maya advantageous
• Work effectively in a team environment, including co-working on projects, co-developing ideas, giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise an often conflicting workload.
• Minimum 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including English grades A-C
• Able to supply an up to date portfolio of own work.
