Job Description:

You will be responsible for developing and delivering CSR communications plans for leading CSR programmes across the business as well as helping shape the communication strategy for CSR.

You’ll need to be a people person, with impeccable writing skills and attention to detail, an unflappable attitude to deadlines and the ability to work with personnel at all levels across the business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support our Corporate and Consumer Communications Teams in delivering effective proactive campaigns, aligned with the business’s CSR strategy, narrative and objectives
  • Working with agencies, to support the communication elements of an engaging and inspiring Sustainability Reports for the business
  • Developing communications materials including letters, briefing documents, press releases, presentations and background research
  • Assisting with communication issues and crisis management
  • Working with the team to shape and implement Lidl GB’s CSR communications strategy
  • Building and coordinating national, regional and trade business announcements regarding CSR topics
  • Working with our Marketing department and agencies to project manage engaging and impactful CSR communications for our customers through our owned and above the line channels
  • Develop and deliver compelling communications plan to engage and educate our employees on our CSR journey, progress and how CSR applies to different roles across the business

Job Requirements:

  • Adept in translating technical and challenging CSR data and information into easily digestible communications
  • Highly collaborative with experience working with varied departments and external agencies, managing multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organized and able to manage and priorities workload
  • Strong proven track record in project managing, creating and delivering communications plans
  • Ability to converse with different audiences with strong written and visual communication competence
  • Solid understanding of the retail sector and CSR issues and trends
