Job Description:
The Ambassadors, Events, and PR Manager will be an integral part of the Lids marketing team, performing as the point of contact for brand ambassadors, assisting with PR communications, and coordinating and executing live events with on-site supervision. This role must be an excellent communicator and highly organized; able to share and report on relevant information to internal and external stakeholders and audiences. The ideal candidate will have a dynamic personality and experience working with celebrity agents in a fast paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the planning and execution of virtual and live events
- Communicates with PR agency and coordinates deliverables
- Facilitates Lids Gives relationships with charitable organizations
- Drives execution of ambassador contracts and tracks deliverables
- Researches and pursues new brand ambassadors
- Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across the corporate and field teammates
- Develops strategic brand relationships and manages communication with ambassadors and their agents
- Provide media direction to field/store personnel
Job Requirements:
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Four-year degree in public relations, journalism, or related marketing/business field
- Demonstrated ability to perform independently with periodic supervision
- Proactive, highly organized with strong attention to detail
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Ability and willingness to travel overnight for events
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written
- Ability to properly represent Lids while at events, in the field, and in digital media
