Job Description:
We are currently seeking a new team member as a NIGHT AUDITOR at Orlando Airport Marriott Lakeside.
Our property, located by one of the busiest airports in the country, offers 485 guest rooms, approximately 30,000 square feet of meeting space along with resort-like amenities such as an outdoor pool, pool bar, and several food and beverage outlets including a full-service restaurant, coffee shop and a concierge lounge reserved for our valued frequent travelers and VIP guests.
The individual will be responsible for providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at check-out, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Communicate all pickup requests from the airport to drivers.
- Checking guests in and out promptly.
- Take room service orders over the phone.
- Reviewing reservations and assign rooms based upon availability, special requests, and hotel promotions.
- Assures guest satisfaction.
- Answers phones and questions as asked by the guest.
Qualification & Experience:
- Computer experience required.
- Excellent customer service experience required.
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Past Marriott experience and PMS knowledge are a plus.
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must be effective in listening and handling problems.
- Experience in a hotel or a related field required.
- Ability to stand during the entire shift.
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
